He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lewis and Mildred Ruth Kozus Day; and his siblings, Francis Day, James Day Jr. and Marie Mitchum.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Lombardi of Hyde Park; his children, Robert L. Day (Liza) of Wappingers and Donna M. Gray (Paris) of Poughkeepsie; his grandsons, Liam Day, Carter Day and Michael Skaretka II; and his sister Lori Sioleski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Regina Coeli Roman Catholic Church (10 Romans Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538).
The family asks that memorial donations be made in Larry's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
