We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2021, at the age of 90, John G. Hummel (Hyde Park, New York), born in Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hummel and Leona Gruntler Hummel; his wife Alice E. Shaw; his daughter Julie Marin; his stepchildren, Gladys Rosmus, David and Irving Van Leuvan; and his brother Leonard Hummel.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Judith Grittlow (Nick) of Staatsburg; his daughter Cheryl Faris (Gregory) of LaGrange; his stepgrandchildren, Nicholas, Michael Grittlow, Carol O'Connell, Timothy Hanks, Michael Rosmus and Grace Carvajal; his stepgreat-grandsons, Nicholas Grittlow and Daniel O'Connell; and his brother Ronald Hummel (Doris) of Rhinebeck. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
