As Johanna departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Johanna may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Johanna leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Moran and Jean Moran (Heissler); and her sister Theresa Abate. She is survived by: her brother Robert (Jane); and her husband Paul Pungello. She is also survived by his parents, brother, sister, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Regina Coeli (2 Harvey St, Hyde Park, NY 12538).
