It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Marjorie Benson of Hyde Park, New York, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Doran and Ruth VanWagner Doran; her husband James A. Benson; and her son James A. Benson Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ladensack (Otto) of Durham, Robert Benson (Sarah) of Highland and Shawn Benson (John Keeton) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Nicole, Emily Ladensack, Cameron and Abygail Benson; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Couse of Red Hook.
