It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Trani of Hyde Park, New York, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Daley and Catherine McCarroll Daley; her husband Navy Lieutenant Trani; her brothers, Thomas J. and James V. Daley; and her close friend Edward M. Blodgett.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Trani of Baltimore, MD and Christopher Trani (Shelley) of Hyde Park; her grandchildren, Maxwell A. Armstrong (Sarah) of Baltimore, Samuel F. Armstrong of Baltimore, Sofia R. of Hyde Park, Benjamin C. of Hyde Park and Jack F. Trani of Hyde Park; her mother-in-law Janice Daley; and also, Faye Daley, Keith Blodgett (Leslie) of California and Donna Lita of Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with NYS guidelines, proper COVID protocols will be observed.
