He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Briggs and Marianna Richter Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rose; his children, Donna J. Chapman and Donald E. Briggs, Jr.; his grandchildren, McKenzie Briggs, Travis Chapman and Michaela Chapman; and his sister Marion Zimmer (Fred). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sweets Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538).
