He was predeceased by: his father David Koinange Kariuki; and his brother Joel Ng'ang'a Koinange. He is survived by: his mother Miriam Wambui Koinange; his wife Patricia Thige; his children, David and Miriam Thige; and his siblings, Peter Kariuki Koinange, Wairimu Matere and Lucy Murugi Koinange.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538).
