It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Drake of Hurleyville, New York, born in Newton, New Jersey, who passed away on September 8, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lester Drake, Sr.; his stepfather Lowell Dean; and his sister Lorraine Drake. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Poyer Dean; and his siblings, Joe (JoAnn) and Charlene Watson. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews, his great-niece, and many cousins.
Visitation will be held at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, Woodbourne, on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 12-2 p. m. with a Funeral Service at 2 p. m. Social distancing guidelines set forth by the New York State Department of Health will be in place; facemasks are required at all times.
