He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Harkin and Hazel Harkin; and his wife Ruth. He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Dayleen) of Vancouver, WA and William (Connie) of Cottekill, N. Y.; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer, Kyle and Daniel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hurley Reformed Church, St. Judes Research Hospital, Make a wish Foundation Hudson Valley, Alzheimers Association of Hudson Valley or a charity of choice.
