It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha J. Truax of Hurley, New York, born in Cobleskill, New York, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Schaffer and Helen Whitman Schaffer; her spouse Carleton L. Truax; and her siblings, Floyd Schaffer and Flora Decker.
She is survived by: her son William Truax (Laura-Ann) of Lake Katrine; her grandson Ryan T. Truax (Holly Levis); and her brother George Schaffer (Ellen) of Aurora, NY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
