Herbert F. Morehouse Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert F. Morehouse Sr. of Hurley, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Van Leuven Morehouse and Caroline Amelia Maria Metzger; and his siblings, Robert, William, Daniel Morehouse, Marjorie Kingsley, Eleanor Morehouse and Carolyn Waligurski.
He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Lori Decker (John), Wendy Helsley (Steven) and Herbert Morehouse, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Daniella and Johnathan Helsley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. - Kingston (326 Albany Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hurley Reformed Church (11 Main St, Hurley, NY 12443). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Hurley Cemetery (80 Zandhoek Rd, Hurley, NY 12443).
