She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Smith and Loretta Smith (Blum); her siblings, Francis, Mary and Adeline; and her husband Ed.
She is survived by: her brother Peter; her grandchildren, Dawn, Alec, Travis, Mathew Rowe, Elizabeth and Alexandra Madonna; her great grandchildren, Piper and Paxton Rowe; her nieces and nephews, Patty, Joanie, Barbara, Laura, Pam, Susan, Mark, Cindy, Dawn, Ricky and Scott; and also, Debi Madonna of Nashville, Karen Madonna (Timothy Embler) of Hurley, Kevin Madonna (Victoria) of Hurley and Ruth White.
In lieu of flowers, Betty's family requests that donations in her name be made to Coach House Players, the longest operating community theater in Ulster County.
