With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Herdman of Hurley, New York, born in Windham, New York, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burhans and Ethel Burhans (Holcomb); her husband William; her former husband Herbert Russell Herdman; her stepmother Mildred Burhans (Holcomb); and her siblings, Robert Burhans, Grendon Burhans, Floyd "Richard" Burhans and Stanley Burhans.
She is survived by: her sibling Later Mildred; her stepdaughter Betty; her children, Victor Herdman (Tigre) of Tucson, AZ, Richard Herdman (Linda) of Esopus, NY, Robert Herdman (Debbi) of Hurley, NY and Sharon Steward (late Donald) of Kingston, NY; her sister Margaret Daum; and also Mildred Holcomb (Betty). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
