We bid farewell to Barbara V. Small (Hurley, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schachinger and Nettie Schachinger (Dummermuth); her son Gary Small; and her sister Nettie. She is survived by: her brother John Schachinger Jr.; her sons, Walter Small Jr. of Cary, NC and Alan Small (Claudia) of Rifton; her daughter-in-law Georganne Small of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Walter III, Cheri, Travis, Heather of Hopewell Junction, Joseph and Ryan of Rifton; and her great grandchildren, Walter IV, Mason and Jacob of Rifton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
