He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Norton Bowen and Edna Louise Bowen; and his sister Marcia Olson. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Bowen; his children, Michael Bowen of Poughkeepsie, Jayne Hayden (Lance) of Chesterfield, Sian Ryan (Martin) of Randolph, Patrick Bowen of San Diego, California and Philip Bowen (Lisa) of El Cajon, California; his granddaughters, Abigail and Sarah Bowen; and his children, Niamh, Ciarra, James Ryan and Wyatt Hayden.

I knew Art though our work together on the Conservative committee where he served as corresponding secretary as well as in other roles, I first met him during the Tea Party events in 2009. He was a true patriot and a pleasure to work with, He was an enthusiastic supporter of our country's constitution. I hope that we will live up to the work that he dedicated himself to.
