It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anthony Sgroi (Hurley, New York), born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano Michael and Providenza Sgroi (Mignosi); and his sister Mildred Sgroi O'Reilly. He is survived by: his wife Helen Sgroi (Stevenson); his children, Timothy M. Sgroi (Brenda), Patricia E. Cunningham (Jack), Cheryl A. Donahue and Deborah G. Sgroi; his grandchildren, Thomas, Megan Donahue, Cassidy, Griffin Cunningham, Brittany and Zachary Sgroi; and his sister Frances M. Ostrander. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In the interest of public safety and in accordance with New York State's Executive Order in response to coronavirus, services will be held at a later date.
