He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schonewald and Virginia Schonewald (Siebert); his brother George Schonewald (Margy); and his grandson Roger Frederick Schonewald. He is survived by: his wife Viola Bannon (Vi); and his children, Roger Schonewald (Valerie), Richard Schonewald (Judy) and Susan Koval (Michael). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
