It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary V. Vacca of Huntington, New York, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John (Clara Sweeney) and Mary; her husband James; and her sister Teresa. She is survived by: her daughters, Claire (Ryan), Elena and Maria (Brennan); and her grandchildren, Madeline (Pip), Colin and Robert (Robbie).

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the A. L. Jacobsen Funeral Home, Inc. (1380 New York Ave, Huntington Station, NY 11746). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Patrick R. C. Church (400 Main St, Huntington, NY 11743).
