With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John K. Welch in Huntington, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine and Edward; and his brother Glenn (Kathy). He is survived by: his girlfriend Sheryl Klewicki; his children, Brennan, Sarah and Rachel; and his siblings, Edward Welch (Marge), Leslie Freiman (Joel), Susan Meyen (Steve), Jane Welch (Gene), Gregory Welch and Robert. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Deer Park - Mangano Family (1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729). A prayer was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saints Cyril & Methodius R. C. Church (125 Half Hollow Rd, Deer Park, NY 11729). A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933-1031).
