He was predeceased by: his parents, August Johnson and Ellen Johnson; and his siblings, Tom and Sharon. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his sons, Steve and Gary (Sheila); his grandchildren, Cecilia (Dan), Steven (Rhiana), Laura, Matthew and Elena; his sisters, Diane and Pauline; and his children, Medora and Danny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. L. Jacobsen Funeral Home, Inc. (1380 New York Ave, Huntington Station, NY 11746).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Samaritans Purse.
