Maureen left this world on December 31, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Walter; her children, David Dowling (Jacqueline) and Denise DeBobes (Martin); and her grandchildren, Daniel, Shane, Ryan, Kathryn Denise and Matthew.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the A. L. Jacobsen Funeral Home, Inc. (1380 New York Ave, Huntington Station, NY 11746). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary R. C. Church (175 Wolf Hill Rd, Melville, NY 11747). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
