He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marianne; his daughters, Lisa Schlossberg (Brad) and Christine Goldman (Keith); his grandchildren, Ray, Ryan, Christopher and Mary; and his brother Joseph Fischetti (Ellen).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the A. L. Jacobsen Funeral Home, Inc. (1380 New York Ave, Huntington Station, NY 11746). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary R. C. Church (175 Wolf Hill Rd, Melville, NY 11747). A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at the Huntington Rural Cemetery (555 New York Ave, Huntington, NY 11743).
