He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus P. Modjeska and Sara Modjeska; his siblings, Paul A. Modjeska and Norma Morgan; and his daughter Deborah Payne.
He is survived by: his sister Virginia Melia; his daughters, Cynde Modjeska, Karen Alessandro (Joseph) and Carla Monteleone (Robert); and his grandchildren, J. C. Alessandro, Nicole, Tucker Foti, Spencer and Gabriel Payne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
