He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Tilton and Jessie Mitchell Tilton; his wife Barbara Jean Hopkins; and his sisters, Shirley Vasille and Marie M. Carney.
He is survived by: his children, Dianna Whiting (Mike) of Naples, Mark Tilton (Rhonda) of Angelica, Tammy Tilton of Wellsville, Marsha Tilton and Amy Woodhouse (Bryan) of West Sparta; and his siblings, Edward Tilton of Nunda and Kathy McGinty of Hunt. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
