He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cockle and Alice Buffey Cockle; his granddaughter Angela Marie Cockle; and his siblings, Allen Cockle, Roy "Junior" Cockle, Sadie Hatch, Irene Bennett, Bernice VanName Shaver and Linda Kingsley.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Dunn; his children, Jay Cockle (Joanne) of Fillmore, Joel Cockle (Kimberly) of Fillmore and Janet Cockle of Fillmore; his grandchildren, Kristin Cockle, Elizabeth Hagen (Tom), Clancy Cockle and Reid Cockle; and his sister Olive "Polly" Miller of Hume. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
