She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Cross and Naomi Green Cross; her daughter-in-law Judy Merriam; her sister Elizabeth Lawton; and her siblings-in-law, Don Lawton, Larry Monroe, Wesley Merriam, Wilder Merriam, Henry Merriam, Gene Merriam, Martha Merriam, Doris Merriam and Florence Merriam.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Edward Merriam; her children, Tom Merriam (Ashley) of York, PA, Rick Merriam of Silver Lake, Dave Merriam (Pat) of Hornell and Becky Hendricks (Guy) of Greeneville, TN; her close friends, Donald Heinz of Rochester, NY, Jerry and Alice York of Maine; and her siblings, Geraldine Monroe of Olean and Carl Cross (Margaret) of Wellsville.
