She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Silvestri and Richard Irving; her husband Dwight Allen; and her stepfather Alfonso Silvestri. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Allen of Hughsonville and Melissa Allen-Stapleford (John) of Bear, DE; and her siblings, George Silvestri of Hughsonville and Susan Posner. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to The Dementia Society of America or to The American Diabetes Association.
