He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelia (Kropmans) and John Michielen. He is survived by: his wife Judy (Pomeroy); his daughters, Jennifer Michielen (Eric Arlund), Vanessa Ort (David) and Melanie Boone (Berthold); his grandchildren, Anna, Peter, Linus, Zach and Lauren; and his brother Hans.
