We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2024, at the age of 68, Michael G. Hongach in Hudson, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Michael had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Michael may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mercedes Hongach and Michael Hongach. He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Hongach; his grandsons, Hudson and Oliver; his son Michael Hongach; and his grandchildren, Trenton and Nicole.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hudson Fireman's Home (125 Harry Howard Ave, Hudson, NY 12534).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Michael's memory to the Hudson Fireman's Home, honoring his final years and his commitment to the firefighting community.
