She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Charles and Mary Alice Carson Horter; her son Stuart I. Middaugh; and her siblings, Joan E. Spears and Charles A. Horter.
She is survived by: her children, Richard, Laura E. Pritt (Ira) of Bridgeport and James D. Middaugh (Kathleen) of Midland, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Watson of Las Vegas, Dr Lindsay Gibson of Temple, Dr Matthew Middaugh of Hudson, Dr Erin Falkowski of Parkton, Shelley Pritt, Carri Kines of Phillipi, Daniel Pritt of Bridgeport and Christopher Pritt of Bridgeport. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren plus numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bridgeport United Methodist Church (251 Worthington Dr, Bridgeport, WV 26330). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Mary Lou had requested that in lieu of flowers donations to be made to either the Bridgeport United Methodist Church, 251 Worthington Dr, Bridgeport, WV 26330, or the Osiris Shriners Children's Hospital, 91 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.
