It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Carpenter (Hudson, New York), born in Troy, New York, who passed away on August 20, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Carpenter; and his brother Charles Francis Carpenter. He is survived by: his parent Mary Cannon Carpenter; his wife Shirley Ann Falco Carpenter; his children, Robert Carpenter (Felicia) of Slidell, LA, Brenda Gavigan (Tim) of Schaghticoke, Mary Alice Lanoue (Michael) of Troy, Susan Schwab (George) of Malta, Colleen Pafundi (Chuck) of Stillwater, John Carpenter of Mechanicville, Tony Carpenter of Schaghticoke, William Carpenter of Stillwater and Michael Carpenter (Marnie) of Milton; and his sisters-in-law, Maureen Carpenter, Bonnie DeRusso (Peter) and Jean Kane.
