She was predeceased by: her husband John Sawicky of Hudson; and her parents, George Ashley and Lydia Ashley (Silliman) of Chatham. She is survived by: her children, Mark Sawicky (Lauran) of New Milford, CT and Diana Scali (Anthony) of Hudson, NY; her grandchildren, Anthony Scali, Jennifer Andreic (Aleksandar), Angela Indiveri (John), Michelle Sawicky, Heather Slifstein (Jason) and Mark Sawicky Jr. Joan; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Casidy, Emily, Layla, Nikola, Noah and Nadia; her great great grandchildren, Madison, Emma and Abel; and her sister Doris Ashley.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Joan's memory to the Columbia Greene Humane Society in Hudson, NY or to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
