He is survived by: his wife Alice Shook (Rizzi); his son Christopher Shook; his daughter-in-law Dee Dee Nguyen-Shook; his daughter Melinda Brehm (Shook); his grandson Ryan Shook; his stepgrandsons, Brandon and Tanner Nguyen; his siblings, Susan Barnhill, Connie Robson and Jerry Shook; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly and James "Buddy" Schermerhorn.
