In the sacred silence of farewell, Dawn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dawn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lawton and Betty Thompkins Lawton. She is survived by: her son Rocco Balestra; her sister Debbie (Pete); and her spouse Russell Balestra. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Church (431 Union St, Hudson, NY 12534).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Church Episcopal of Hudson.
