It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caterina Mongillo (Hudson, New York), who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guieseppe Resso and Giulietta Gisondi; her brother-in-law Charles Scalera; and her husband Pietro Mongillo. She is survived by: her sister Silvia Scalera; her nieces, Maria Fisher (Tom), Julia Buonfiglio (Tom) and Tina Morrison (Chris); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Joe Buonfiglio (Amanda), Cat Pullen (Mark), Julianna Fisher, TJ Gardner, Antonio Fisher (Dayna), Victoria Gardner, Markie, Hazel, Hosanna and Tucker. She is also survived by Her nieces were her daughters and she their second mother.
