She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martha Will Lane and Lewis O. Slocum, Jr.; her husband Lew; her children, Cindi Zagorski and Doug Slocum; her sister-in-law Eleanor Lane; her son Larry Slocum (Carolyn) of Stillwater; her children-in-law, Bub Zagorski (Donna Norton) and Bonnie Slocum; her grandchildren, Drew Slocum (Jenn Richey), Michael Zagorski (Charlotte Cerny), Randi Webber (Kyle), Dan Slocum, Matthew Zagorski (Aimee) and Dane Slocum (Kaitlin Carson); her great grandchildren, Ryann, Nevin, Vail, Ethan and Graham; and her siblings, Virginia Marra (Ralph) and Harold Lane. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gateway House of Peace, 479 Rowland Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020, which provided such great care to Carol during her final weeks.
