With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Marie Mercier Case of Hudson Falls, New York, born in Hampton, New York, who passed away on July 18, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mercier and Laura Mercier; her husband George Case; and her son Theodore Ames. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Ames of Ballston Spa, Theresa Ames of Moreau and Jason Mattison of Wasilla, Alaska; her grandchildren, Kelly Ames, Jacob Mattison, Bradley Mattison, Tyler Mattison and Emily Mattison; and her sister Marion Briggs of Connecticut. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She also made and donated blankets for the elderly in Fort Hudson Nursing Home in the late 90s.
