It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Johnston of Hudson Falls, New York, who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Yarter and Annabelle Yarter (Sheehy); her husband Robert M. Johnston (Church Rectory); and her siblings, Virginia Carson and John "Jack" Yarter.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas H. Johnston (Cynthia) of Wilton, Marcia E. Bolesh of University Place, WA and Barbara A. Hunt (Willis) of Bennington, VT. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
