He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmot Packard and Adeline Packard (Cooper); his siblings, William Packard, Raymond Packard and Bernice "Bunny" Robbins; and his brother-in-law Charles R. Pratt.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Packard; his daughters, Tammy Packard (Ray Periard) of Greenwich and Felicia Packard (Jesse Brayton) of Hudson Falls; his sister Beverly "Bev" Donovan (Mike) of Kingsbury; and his sister-in-law Jean Packard of Hampton. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two step grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Samuel can be made to a charity of one's choice.
