He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Steele and Gladys May Steele (Colson); and his son Paul A. Steele. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Steele of Hudson Falls; and his children, Robert D. Steele, Jr., Larry K. Steele, JoAnn M. Steele, Diane L. Skinner and Peter B. Steele. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the charity of one's choice.
