She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurilla (Havens) and Edward McGinnis, Sr.; her daughter Debora Ellis; and her siblings, Edward McGinnis (Joan), Robert McGinnis, Paul McGinnis (Betty), Richard McGinnis, Jack McGinnis, Margaret Eagle (Charles) and Marilyn Riganta.

She is survived by: her husband Edward LaPan; her nieces, Karen Skizynski, Michelle Hunt and Diane Leonelli; her son Michael (Debbie); her son-in-law Larry Ellis of Hudson Falls; her grandson Nicholas Ellis (Taylor); her great grandchild Edison of Albany; her grandson Neil Ellis (Cindy); her great grandchildren, Hunter and Ashton of Hudson Falls; her grandsons, Kristopher LaPan (Carrie) of Saratoga and Kameron LaPan of New Albany, Ohio; her sister Susan Palmer (Loren) of Hudson Falls; and her siblings-in-law, Janet McGinnis, Helen McGinnis, Doris Trackey (Joseph) of Hudson Falls, Lester LaPan, Jr. (Janice) of Hudson Falls and Wallace LaPan (Rhea) of Hudson Falls. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
