She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Shaw, Sr. and Sunie Marguerite Slater (Walker); her daughter Stephanie Gilbert; and her brother Ralph Shaw. She is survived by: her husband Roger Slater of Hudson Falls; her daughter Marguerite Newton (Robert) of Hudson Falls; her grandchildren, Sarah Newton (Joshua Krywy), Robert Newton, Jr. (Rebecca Clearwater) and Nathan Gilbert; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Krywy and Layne Krywy; her brother Carl Shaw (Gayle) of Atlanta, Georgia; and her son-in-law William Gilbert. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
