She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Hartman and Hazel Hartman; her husband Gerald Dessaint; her sister June Catone (Nick); her great-nephews, Kristopher and Keith Amorosi; and her son-in-law Richard Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Dessaint (Linda) of Hartford, Jeffrey Dessaint (Lisa) of Hartford and Susan Dessaint Carpenter of Glens Falls; her niece Sharon Amorosi (Don); her grandchildren, Edward Quattrocchi (Corie), Christine Velez, Leslee Chadwick (Keith), Lisa Hitchcock (Chip), Gabrielle Dessaint (Scott), Donna-Rae Brown (Seth), Joe Carpenter, Lauren Kate Carpenter and Bianca Martin; and her great grandchildren, Bronsyn, Marina, Madison, Sophie, Adeline, Chloe and Noah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
