It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Robert Monroe Sr. of Hudson Falls, New York, born in Glens Falls, New York, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester N. Monroe and Margaret Monroe (Powers) of Argyle, NY.; and his brother Karl. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth R. Monroe, Jr. (Patti) of Hudson Falls, Thomas E. Monroe (Kim) of South Carolina, Karen L. Wood (Mike) of Hudson Falls and Cameron L. Monroe of Argyle; his grandchildren, Kendrick Monroe, Brandon Monroe, Audriana Bala (Joshua), Marion (Aaron Beagle) and Cameron L. Monroe, Jr.; his stepgrandchildren, Abby Wells, Brian Wells, John Wood and Michael Wood, Jr. (Samantha); his great grandchildren, McKenna, Nicholas Monroe, Delaney, Kiernan Bala and Ruth Beagle; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Madison Wood, Noah James Wood, Michael Wood III, Karly Wood, Remi Wood and Evelyn Wells; his sister Kathleen Katen (Allen) of Carrollton, GA; his sister-in-law Norma Monroe (Karl) of Argyle; his stepchildren, Michele, Lesly and Cory; and his close friends, George Hayes, Andy and Phil Grimes. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their extended families.
