It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Westervelt Steele of Hudson Falls, New York, born in Mineola, New York, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George MacEwan and Josephine MacEwan (Westervelt); her husband Robert D. Steele, Sr.; and her son Paul A. Steele. She is survived by: her children, Robert D. Steele, Jr., Larry K. Steele, JoAnn M. Steele, Diane L. Skinner and Peter B. Steele. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the charity of one's choice.
