She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheldon Boynton and Mary Boynton (Chabbot); her husband Andrew "Bud" Nelson; her siblings, Mildred Hartpence, Edward and Sheldon Boynton; her daughter-in-law Deborah Nelson; and her stepmother Laura Boynton.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Tomashefsky (Paul) and Michael; and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Katy Tomashefsky, Tess, Margaret and Wyatt Nelson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
