It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ella (Hobbs) Huntington of Hudson Falls, New York, born in Ellenburg Center, New York, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hobbs and Lena Hobbs (LaSage); her sons, Bernard LaPlant and Larry LaPlant; her stepson A. J. Huntington, III; her siblings, Alta Barcomb, Thelma Burdo, Darwin Hobbs and Herman Hobbs; and her stepbrother Glenn Hobbs.
She is survived by: her spouse Adoniram Huntington, Jr. (AJ); her children, R. S., James LaPlant (Colleen), Donald LaPlant (Linda) of Queensbury, Robert LaPlant (Darcy) of Hudson Falls, Charles Gourd (Karen), Palm Beach Fl and Lorraine Nash of MacClenan; her stepchildren, Steven Huntington (Donna) of Gansevoort, Kevin Huntington (Tina) of Hudson Falls, Theresa Colwell (Jeff) of San Antonio, TX and Linda Huntington Kress (Doug) of Fairview Heights, IL; and her siblings, Earl Hobbs of Glens Falls, Gary Hobbs (Donna) of Hudson Falls and Irma Boyea of Chateaugay. She is also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
