She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. VanTassel and Florence VanTassel (Enright); her son Paul A. Hughes; and her brother William F. VanTassell. She is survived by: her sons, David D. Hughes of Hudson Falls, Robert E. Hughes of Fort Ann and Mark W. Hughes of Fort Ann; and her sister Irene Homer of Queensbury. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
