He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Armstrong and Martha Armstrong (Cozort) of Mammoth Springs; and his siblings, Jeanette Armstrong, Veneda Dillard, Nadine Smith, Geneva Smith, Cleatus Pete Armstrong, Cloyse Armstrong, Wilma Cherry and Elsie Holman.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Armstrong of Independence; his grandchildren, Robin Alyssa Atwood, Cairen Anne Marie Goree (Tracker), Jordan Dean Huntley (Coral), Brandy Marie Thomas (Bryndan), Austin Reed Sontag (Tayler), Tristan Michelle Armstrong, Hannah Hope Del Monte (Nic), David Riley Armstrong and Eleasah Joy Hatfield (Mat); and his great grandchildren, Cheyenne Marie Wright, Charlotte Kara Thomas, David Wyatt Armstrong, Mason Levi Wealand, Raylan Reed Sontag, Jireh Tarian Goree and Bennett Andrew Sontag.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Queensbury Church of Christ (357 Aviation Rd, Queensbury, NY 12804).
