He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hammond and Viola Hammond (Parker); his wife Sharron Hammond; his close friend Ernesta Phillips; his grandson Taylor Thomas Mikus; and his children-in-law, Lorraine Hammond, Jeffrey Park and Frederick Foster.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Bentanzos (Ricardo) of Glens Falls, Edward Hammond (Roberta) of Fultonville, Joann Park of Glens Falls, David Hammond (Ela) of Glens Falls, John Hammond (Sandi) of Argyle, Catherine Foster of Hudson Falls and Penny Kilmartin (Chris) of Glens Falls. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters.
